Common names: 90/10 Copper-Nickel-lron, 90/10 Cu pro-nickel, Cupro-nickel, 90/10

A copper-nickel alloy with an alpha phase structure. Small amounts of iron and manganese are added to improve corrosion resistance in high-velocity (from 1 to about 3.5 m/s) waters, including seawater. The alloy is relatively insensitive to stress corrosion. It has good cold- and hot- working properties and is readily weldable.
